Having lived and worked around the United States and Canada in some of the most beautiful states and cities, I have finally realized a long overdue dream and settled into a Carolina lifestyle with my husband and many animals on a beautiful horse farm, Cedar Run Farm, in Statesville, North Carolina.
While searching for the perfect property I had the privlege of living on the shores of Lake Norman at The Point, one of the well known Cresent Communities.
Since I was continually reviewing Real Estate Magazines and Websites researching what North Carolina has to offer in the way of Equestrian Properties and Land, I decided it was time I put my previous 10 years of sales and marketing experience and 35 years of equestrian experience to work and help other people realize their dreams.
BUYERS I realize everyone has different taste and different needs when they are looking for a home and it would be difficult to know everything and every location. Time is a precious commodity these days and I want to be sure that when someone comes to me for assistance in finding a new home I am knowledgeable about the area they are looking and type of home they are interested in finding, so I've decided to stick to what I know…
I help buyers meet their real estate objectives. I have extensive knowledge of each of the towns and communities located in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area particularly those equestrian/horse properties and tracts of land available and will work tirelessly on your behalf to make your next home or land buying or selling experience a pleasant and successful one.
When selecting a Realtor/Broker in the Greater Charlotte, NC area or in any other area strong knowledge of the community, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service are all crucial elements.
SELLERS OF EQUESTRIAN PROPERTIES AND LAND ARE ALL FACED WITH THE SAME AND UNIQUE CHALLENGE! You have a property that only a few select buyers may be interested in purchasing. It is hard for those of us with a passion for privacy, animals, and land to imagine that more buyers in the market can not appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears we have put into our farms or the vision we have for our land. Surely, the right buyer is just around the corner! This may be true, you may have the one property that meets the needs of one or two active buyers. However, if your property is not what someone is looking to purchase right now, it may be a while before the right buyer comes along.
"AS YOUR AGENT, MY NUMBER ONE GOAL IS TO BE SURE YOUR PROPERTY IS FOUND AND SEEN BY ANY AND ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS"
I welcome the opportunity to share my extensive marketing program with you and discuss how we can best get your farm or land sold in a timely manner and at a price that is acceptable to you.

I was born in upstate New York where the “hearty” battle the 6' snow drifts for a majority of the year. While close to the scenic Adirondack Mountains and dozens of beautiful natural lakes, I was young and naïve enough to think this was heaven.....And maybe it is, for polar bears!!
Lucky enough to live next door to my grandparents, I grew up with horses, pastures, frogs, and nature walks as my daily past-times. As an only child, I was protector to any type of winged or furry critter. In middle school, I took riding lessons on Morgan horses and developed a forever love of these magnificent creatures. In college once again, I was fortunate to have a semester of English riding which was my favorite course of all time.
I am a people person, and a notorious "out of the box thinker" which works so well with my chosen 25 year career in real estate. I was a top producing agent for 9 years with a real estate agency specializing in new home construction near Syracuse NY. I then decided to make a complete life change and moved solo to Charlotte North Carolina where I began a career as the Director of Real Estate for a high end private golf club community in the Lake Norman area. As the economy faltered, I began a new career as a general broker in a well known family owned real estate agency. Just recently I have been offered what I could only dream about, an opportunity to combine my love of horses with real estate. I have partnered with Julie Breedlove who is a specialist in equestrian properties and land. I will continue to also work with my past clients who require real estate assistance.
In my spare time, I work with rescue agencies who work to alleviate pain and suffering of cats and dogs. I currently foster the tiniest day old kittens whose mother may have been killed to the abandoned and neglected kitties living a sad life behind dumpsters or in drains.
I hope you will email or call me and we can progress on the pathway to a new home for you, and hopefully your horses as well. Life is too short, enjoy the day....
